As the demand for web design services increases, Cactus Crest aims to empower clients, regardless of their technical expertise, by offering a user-friendly platform that provides access to a diverse range of services and guides them towards achieving their website design goals.

What is the problem?

Clients seeking web design services often struggle with:

Overwhelming and Confusing Interfaces

Need for a Comprehensive Website Audit

Lack of Project Transparency

Data Gathering

To gain insights into target users' needs and preferences, I conducted user interviews to understand their experiences and pain points with existing platforms.
Based on user interviews, I identified two major challenges:

  1. Visual Overload – Users feel overwhelmed when excessive graphics and colors compete for attention.

  2. Navigational Complexity – Users struggle with complex menu structures, making it difficult to find the information they need.

  3. Project Status – Users value simplicity, transparency and direct access to their project status.

  4. Audit Existing Website – Many users already had existing websites and needed a tool to audit and identify areas for improvement.

Personas

Based on user interviews and competitive analysis, I developed personas to represent typical users. These personas helped guide design decisions, ensuring that solutions remained user-centric.

Opportunity

To design a platform that provides users with a clean and intuitive interface, allowing them to navigate effortlessly and find information quickly while ensuring transparency in project tracking.

Insights from Research

There are a lot of websites in the market, and after talking to users about their needs, two crucial factors emerged:

  1. Some users already had websites they wanted to revise. They needed a feature to audit their existing website to identify flaws and areas for improvement.

  2. Users also needed a project portal to track updates, progress, and key project milestones.

Users prefer a simple and structured approach to web design services.

Transparency and communication are crucial for building client trust.

A well-organized website leads to a better user experience and higher client satisfaction.
